iPad News Rundown

Ok, so much to know, so little time on a Monday. Here are the essentials.
- Steve Jobs voiced his opinion to a small group, but his remarks spread to the internet. The include:
- Google’s “don’t be evil” is ” a load of crap” according to Jobs.
- Adobe Flash will not be supported because it is “buggy”. It does not matter because the world, according to Jobs, is moving toward HTML5.
- Jobs believes Google wants to kill the iPhone
- The iPad has spurred a lot of controversy around the world and here in the US.
- Although there are some great iPad apps out there, you can’t pre-order an iPad because it has yet to get clearance from the FCC.
- A Chinese company wants to sue Apple over the iPad saying it copied them. It is essentially a pre-release conterfit from “shanzhai” (a part of China infamous for counterfeit electronics).
- Fujitsu is claiming ownership to the name iPad, though many others will likely follow suit.
Also, tons of competition exists, and will emerge, for the Apple iPad (who else misses “iSlate”?). The ExoPC is a prime example; it’s an iPad clone. The Amazon Kindle
